DIN rail-mounted 8-channel DMX relay switch with RDM feedback and 16 AC input diagnostics

SwitchGATE Rail is an advanced DMX relay switch module designed for DIN rail installation in indoor or sheltered environments. It enables on/off control of up to 8 individual power circuits directly via DMX512 commands, and provides diagnostic feedback from up to 16 AC lines using the RDM protocol (ANSI E1.20).

The device supports direct connection to power lines without additional relays or contactors, offering a space-saving and cost-efficient solution for switching lighting loads, effects, or other electrical devices. Input diagnostics can be used to monitor presence or absence of voltage — ideal for fault detection, alert triggers, or feedback visualization on lighting consoles.

SwitchGATE Rail is powered from 100–250 V AC and features a built-in power supply. It can be configured via RDM or through DIP switches for simple setup without a PC. Each of the 8 relay outputs and 16 monitored inputs is independent and isolated, offering flexibility for a wide range of control applications.

Built into a durable, laser-etched aluminum enclosure, the unit is designed for installation on a 12-module DIN rail and operates reliably in industrial environments. Galvanic isolation ensures safe integration into DMX lines, and the fanless passive cooling design allows for silent operation.
